Movie Plot:
Thirteen year-old city brat Ben (Brandon Tyler Russell) has carried out it once more... and his struggling, single mother (Mira Sorvino) has had sufficient of him obtaining into mischief. Now, Ben has to pick between going down the path of Juvi hall or spending the summer season in Iowa on a farm with his estranged grandfather, Jack (Peter Fonda). The day soon after arriving, Ben is prepared to leave. To enable Ben get a buddy, Jack gets him a smart farm canine from an animal shelter to retain Ben organization and in line. Between the dog and a friendly neighbor (Louis Gossett, Jr.), Ben quickly learns lifestyle lessons about friendship, loved ones and responsibility. It might take a village to raise a youngster, but when you only have a handful of people today and a dog at your side, you have to make do with what you have. By means of it all, Ben has the most memorable summer season of his daily life.
